Satellite Dish

We do not have as much roof space as we have had on other vans, priority for roof Realestate went to the solar panels and to be fair we do not watch a huge amount of tv. That said we do like to have the choice and when we go to areas with poor reception the portable dish comes into it’s own.

Tuning the dish in has become a bit of a black art, I employ the built in satellite finder that screams it’s success at locating a signal but it could be any number or satellites that circle the globe and have a signal to broadcast towards Blighty, so with the aid of an app on my smart phone I can at least point the dish in the correct direction making my chances of homing in on the desired signal a doddle, well almost!
